James "Jimmy" Franklin Mularz, born: James Michael Thrift, II, age 33, of Holiday Lakes, Texas, formerly of Griffin, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2005.

He is survived by his children, Dillon, Ashley, and Chevy; mother and step-father, Darlene (Riddle) and Nick Knowlton of Dacula; father and step-mother, Mike and Virginia Thrift of Waco, Texas; adoptive father, Jim Mularz of Locust Grove; half-sisters and brother's-in-law, Lucretia (Mularz) and Scott Shepard of Lawrenceville, Jill (Thrift) and Tony Ross of Temple, Texas; step-brothers Vincient and Phelipe Zapata of Belton, Texas; grandfather, Stanley L. Mularz of Port Charlotte, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Sandra (Riddle) and Ronald Pittman of Columbia, S.C., John Riddle of Atlanta, Sharon (Thrift) and Bill McCartney of Powder Springs, Anne (Thrift) Hall of Jonesboro, Doug and Ann Thrift of Ft. Smith, Ark., Tom and Beth Mularz, John Mularz, Donna (Mularz) and Rob Gatto of Chicago, Ill., Geri Mularz and Paul Mularz of Phoenix, Ariz.; four nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins.
