McDONOUGH – Jody Hice, who represents a portion of Henry County in the U.S. House of Representatives, will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21 in McDonough.

The town hall meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at Taco Mac, located at 1300 Ga. Highway 20 West in McDonough and is hosted by the Henry County Young Republicans.

Hice represents the 10th Congressional District of Georgia, which includes a portion of eastern Henry County, as well as all of Butts County and portions of Newton County, as well portions of eastern Georgia leading to the South Carolina border.

According to a release from the Henry County Young Republicans, Hice has been a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump in the House impeachment battle.

“As young Republicans, we are honored to host Congressman Hice,” said Andrew Abbott, president of the Young Republicans chapter, in a press release. “He has championed ideals our organization believes are very important for us as young people. The Congressman fights to ensure that free speech and free markets remain the cornerstone of America. There is nothing more beneficial than that for the next generation.”

The town hall meeting is free and open to the public.
