Local organizations collecting cards, letters for Piedmont Henry staff

STOCKBRIDGE — Churches and organizations throughout Henry County are collecting letters, posters, and cards to deliver to the hospital in August as part of a campaign to send encouraging cards or posters showing support to the staff of Piedmont Henry Hospital.

The hospital admitted its first COVID-19 patient in March and has been caring for an increasing number of people with the disease since then. The letters, cards and signs are a way to show support for the entire staff and the care they provide to the community.
