Schools throughout Henry County have raised thousands of dollars in support of finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Organizers reported a tally of $3,241.85, so far, in local fund-raising efforts to aid the Caps for CURE Day Project, which helps support the Atlanta-based organization CURE Childhood Cancer.
