HAMPTON — Atlanta Motor Speedway will once again host its Market Days food giveaway on April 24.

AMS, Hampton Elementary School and the Atlanta Community Food Bank teamed up to distribute food free of charge to families in need while supplies last. Residents will receive between 30-40 pounds of food items and fresh produce.

In previous Market Days, more than 500 families were fed.

“Our speedway has always had a sense of community,” said Brandon Hutchison, AMS executive vice president and general manager. “We take pride in looking for ways to give back to Henry County and the residents of the surrounding area, particularly during these uncertain times.”

All items are pre-bagged and placed in the backseat or trunk of cars. All vehicles should enter Atlanta Motor Speedway at the main entrance off Ga. Highway 19/41.

The market will open at 11 a.m. on April 24.
