To the editors:
I would like to respond to your letter in the Henry Herald on Nov. 4 regarding the County Commissioner, Jason Harper. First of all let me say that I am one of the residents that received his letter regarding a development of 287 houses being proposed off of Racetrack Road – and was very appreciative of the information. The letter did not state city approval of the plan – it was merely letting us know that it would be coming to the city for consideration – so I did not find Mr. Harper's letter misleading at all. On the other hand, the City of McDonough does not make it easy to be involved with these issues since the city holds important meetings at 4:30 p.m. (and those people working in Atlanta can't attend due to the TRAFFIC problems in Henry County /McDonough).
