Guardrail repairs have begun on I-75 northbound, and will continue from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through Thursday, May 24, between mile markers 218 (Exit 218; SR 20/SR 81) and 222 (Exit 222, Jodeco Road/Flippen Road). The shoulder closure will allow the contractor to conduct repairs to damaged guardrail in the median between the north and southbound lanes of I-75. Crews will be working in half-mile to one-mile increments, and relocating frequently. Motorists should be alert to changing work patterns. Drivers should be aware that personnel and equipment will be operating in close proximity to travel lanes, said Kimberly Larson, Georgia DOT, D3 Communications Officer.
