Piedmont Henry honored by American Cancer Society

Piedmont Henry Hospital was honored by the American Cancer Society for participation as the Henry County Relay for Life Presenting Sponsor. STOCKBRIDGE – Piedmont Henry Hospital became the fifth hospital in Georgia to achieve designation as a Baby-Friendly hospital by Baby-Friendly USA, the nation’s authority on the implementation of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative.

The program is a global endeavor of the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund. The goal is to improve healthy outcomes for mothers and babies through breastfeeding and immediate skin-to-skin bonding.
