STOCKBRIDGE — Piedmont Henry Hospital has received $14.9 million from the bipartisan CARES Act and the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, which provided $175 billion in relief funds to hospitals and other health care providers on the front lines of the coronavirus response.

The funding is from the $12 billion COVID-19 High-Impact Allocation, which is being distributed by the Department of Health and Human Services to 395 hospitals that provided inpatient care for 100 or more COVID-19 patients through April 10. These 395 hospitals accounted for 71 percent of COVID-19 inpatient admissions reported to HHS from nearly 6,000 hospitals around the country.
