Pro-choice is not pro abortion

To the editor:

Speaking as a moderate Democrat, I want to remind your readers that we who are pro-choice are not "pro-abortion" – we are pro-privacy, pro-liberty, and pro-freedom. We are for keeping birth control, family planning, adoption, sex education, and ending unwanted pregnancies safely and legally. It's about saving our privacy. We want our decisions to be in our own hands – not in the hands of state legislators.
