Rookies make the grade, graduate to firefighters

McDONOUGH The Henry County Fire Department added to its growing legion of personnel last week when 14 rookies completed training to become full-fledged firefighters.

Capt. Sabrina Puckett said the rookies completed 13 weeks of intense training to join the ranks of nearly 300 other Henry firefighters and emergency personnel. Graduation exercises were held at the Henry County Administration Building Friday.
