Stockbridge to decide on City of Ethics certification

STOCKBRIDGE – It’s time to re-certify as a City of Ethics but recent proposals could prevent the Stockbridge from doing so.

Georgia Municipal Association’s City of Ethics program is an attempt to raise awareness about ethics issues at the local level and provide a forum for the airing and resolution of legitimate concerns, according to the GMA website. The use of an ethics ordinance allows citizens to raise their concerns and participate in the ethics investigation process of city officials.
