Sunday alcohol sales in restaurants being considered by Hampton officials

HAMPTON— Allowing the sale of alcohol on Sundays at restaurants in Hampton is being considered by the city council.

During Tuesday’s Hampton City Council workshop, City Manager Tommy Engram presented the council with a proposed resolution to allow for a referendum that would give citizens the opportunity to vote for Sunday alcohol sales in the city’s restaurants.
