MCDONOUGH — As if putting on a 20-team track and field meet on a frigid, late March morning wasn’t hard enough, fate tossed several wrenches into Eagle’s Landing High School track Coach Claud Spinks' plans.

First, he arrived at Eagle's Landing Stadium early Saturday to find $185 worth of food and drink missing from the concessions stand. The crew had to scramble to replace what the burglar made off with before people began to demand hot chocolate and coffee to stave off the cold.
