HAMPTON — The Henry County Police Department is looking for a person of interest in two different active homicides in Hampton. One victim was found this morning in the 100 block of Carl Parker Drive and the other was at the 900 block of Steele Drive, police say.

Donnie Wayne Hall is a person of interest who police say may be driving either a white 2006 Ford E-350 van, Georgia tag ATP 2348 or a white 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, Georgia tag PKT 5337. Hall may be armed and police urge extreme caution.

More than a dozen Henry County Police vehicles investigated the Steele Drive scene, then Carl Parker Drive Monday.

At Steele Drive, several neighbors and a man who identified himself as a resident of the house, stood across the street from a bloodstain in the grass where the male victim had died.

Robert Bogel said he was just getting his coffee when someone tapped on his front window. He went out the back door, saw nothing, then went out the front. "That's when I seen him and I seen the other guy walking over to him. I shook him, and he wasn't dang moving, didn't say nothing, and—Man, I didn't figure he was shot, though. I never heard any shots."

Pastor Diane Chrispen-Williams said, "And he told me (the victim) had got hit by something out here. He didn't know at the time."

At Carl Parker, police cars blocked off the street as investigators strode up and down the driveway of a house where an HCPD trailer was parked and crime scene tape marked the scene.

Henry County Superior Court records indicate Hall was due in court Thursday on a domestic violence complaint and that a temporary protective order had been taken out against him by Anne Hall on Sept. 3. Hall was served with the TPO Sept. 6.

Hall also appears in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's Sexual Offender Predator System and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Georgia Sex Offender Registry, which cite a March 17, 1999 conviction on child molestation in Georgia.

Clayton County court records show numerous traffic charges against Hall.

Anyone who sees him should contact Detective Stott at (770) 288-8249 or Henry County Dispatch at (770) 957-9121.
