Mr. Walter Newton Webb, Jr., born on Aug. 21, 1948 to Walter Newton Webb, Sr. and Norma Jean Black Webb of East Point. He went to Russell High School in East Point. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Both of his parents are deceased, as well as his brothers: James Webb, Bobby Webb, and Billy Webb. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lavada J. Webb. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held, Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge. 770-210-2700.
