STOCKBRIDGE – John Blount, Stockbridge mayor pro tem, will hold his monthly Seniors Bingo Bash on Wednesday.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ted Strickland Community Center, located at 130 Martin Luther King Sr. Heritage Trail in Stockbridge.

Senior citizens are encouraged the attend the free community event. Refreshments and prizes are included in the event.

"I invite community members out to join our monthly bingo bash," Blount said in a press release. "We encourage bingo players of all levels to come out for a festive occasion. Stockbridge is excelling and I am proud to present my seniors' activity for our citizens. As our tagline proudly says, Stockbridge is where community connects. We believe the words of our tagline and we want our community members to take part."

All individuals age 55 and over are encouraged to attend the event. Pre-registration is not required for the Wednesday event.
