Locust Grove, GA Allan Ladd Onderchain, 77 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away December 27, 2020. He was born on September 25, 1943 in Dearborn, Michigan to Peter and Elsie Onderchain. Allan was a graduate of New Orleans Theological Seminary and served as minister of County Line Baptist Church. He retired in 2005. Allan was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Locust Grove, GA. He was President of the Board of Directors of the Veterans Support Group in McDonough, GA, and was an active volunteer and website administrator at Helping in His Name Food Pantry. Allan was preceded in death by his mother Elsie, father Peter, and three older brothers, Peter, Richard and Robert. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Janice Driscoll Onderchain, his brothers William and Thomas, and sons Tony and Allan Jr. He is also survived by step-daughters Grey Pitner (Tom) of Cumming, GA, Paige Prevost (Fran) of Douglasville, GA, and Kenna Jones and son-in-law, Todd Jones both of Macon, GA, as well as grandchildren Tommy Pitner (Lora) of Watkinsville, GA, Kelly Kline (Cameron) of Alpharetta, GA, Katie Pitner of Cumming, GA, Andrew Jones of Berkeley, CA, Elizabeth Jones of Gatineau, Quebec, Wil Prevost of Douglasville, GA, and two great grandsons Sawyer and Noah. A private memorial service will be held later this year to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Helping in His Name Food Pantry in Stockbridge, GA.
