Ellenwood, GA Brenda McGarity Phillips, of Ellenwood, Georgia, age 75, died on January 13, 2021.
Brenda was born in McDonough, Georgia, on July 20, 1945, to the late Robert McGarity and Doris Hammond McGarity. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur (Buddy) Phillips; sister, Sandra Gail McGarity; and brother, Robert (Bobby) McGarity, Jr.
Brenda was a graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School in Dekalb County and attended Massey Business College. She was a retired bookkeeper from Zussman, Sikes, Pritchard, and Cohen law firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
Brenda's life will forever be remembered by her sons, Michael (Tavie) Morris of Jackson, Georgia, and Chris (Dawn) Morris of Ellenwood, Georgia, stepchildren, Neil Phillips(Robin), Lisa Brown(Shane), Linda Roberson(HP), Matthew Phillips, Jonathan Phillips; grandchildren, Brayden Morris, Kristin(Stephen) Duncan, Ali Phillips, Levi(Meghan) Brown, Randy(Audrey) Brown, Zoe Brown, Caroline Brown, Phillip Roberson, and Sarah Roberson; great-grandchildren, Maddison Brown, Rylee Brown, Gavin Brown, Anabell Brown, Ransom Brown, and Lillie Duncan; sisters, Connie McGarity Parker (Madison) of McDonough, Georgia, and Sherry McGarity Martin of Athens, Georgia; aunt, Annie Ruth Patterson of McDonough, Georgia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
