John Henry Crowthers
John Henry Crowthers, age 77 of Stockbridge, GA, beloved husband to Arlene Crowthers for over 55 years passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
Loving father of John H. Crowthers, Linda A. Bouhadana (Yair), Michelle Mattson (Eric), and Edward A. Crowthers (Sheila). He is also survived by grandchildren: Melissa, Nicholas, Kenny, Jessica, Jason, Hayden, Joseph, Julia, great grandchildren: Madison, Ryan, Jackson, Elijah, Alaina, Easton, and Holden, his sister, Marie Hubbs (Al), nephew, Alfred Hubbs, niece, Rachel Hubbs, loving family and friends.
John was a life-long member and Assistant Scoutmaster for over 37 years with the Boy Scouts of America.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 where a memorial service will immediately begin at 5 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: St. Jude's Hospital for Children for cancer research, and American Cancer Society.
