Joyce Ann Mergens
Joyce Ann Mergens, age 88, of McDonough, died Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born in Claxton, Georgia to the late Eddie Cluese Avera and Nell Durrence Goldspring.
Mrs. Mergens is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert Mergens, Sr.; children, Leesa Mergens Eason; Linda Mergens (Rich) Burns; Laura Mergens (Cliff Bement) Sullivan; Robert (Angelia Carver) Mergens, Jr.; brother, Jesse James Denning; grandchildren, Joy, Jarrod, Clay, Melissa, Ryan, Caleb, and Jordan; and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Willow, Liam, Tristan Reece Cochran, Paden Reece Cochran, and Owen Robinson Cochran.. She also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends that she loved dearly.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Rick Long officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
