Marcus Tuck
Mr. Marcus Tuck, age 87 of Hampton passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital. Mr. Tuck was born in Fulton County, Georgia on May 11, 1933. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Audrey Conkle Tuck; parents Grover Palmer Tuck and Julia Pucket Tuck. Mr. Tuck served proudly in The United States Navy during the Korean War and was aboard the Destroyer U.S.S. Lind DD703. He retired from the Federal Reserve Bank, where he also met his wife, Audrey. He was also a longtime member of Hampton First Baptist Church. Mr. Tuck's biggest joy was serving the Lord! Survivors include his sister Margaret Tuck Stephens; nephew Smitty Stephens and his wife Sandy Stephens.
A graveside service will be conducted at Berea Cemetery, Hampton, Georgia on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11:00 am. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Reverend Craig McAdams will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mr. Tuck's honor to Hampton First Baptist Church, 85 McDonough Street, Hampton, GA 30228 Conner-Westbury Funeral Home 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
