Peggy Elaine Turner, 75, of Stockbridge, GA, passed away on June 11, 2020. Elaine, as she was known to friends and family, was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas & Nina Lunsford, and her husband, James R. Turner. Elaine retired from AT&T after 44 years of service. Several years after retiring, she worked as a PBX operator at Henry Medical Center for many years. Elaine is survived by her children, daughter, Lisa & Mike Pounds of Hampton, her son, Barry & Gloria Johnson of Jonesboro, her granddaughter, Christina Pounds of Hampton, her grandson, Christopher Pounds of Roswell, her brother, Roy & Diane Lunsford of Forest Park, nephews, Aaron Lunsford and Bobby Lunsford, and her cats, Baby & Mittens, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. A Celebration Ceremony will be announced at a later date.
