Major Richard "Joe" Roberts
Major Richard "Joe" Roberts (Ret.), age 86, of Stockbridge, died Thursday, December 12, 2019. He was born in Conyers, GA to the late David Francis Roberts and Rosa Kate Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Binion Roberts.
Major Roberts is survived by his children, Sharon Roberts, Tony (Debbie) Roberts, Mike (Sherri) Roberts; niece, Cathy Cowan; nephew Robin Reid; grandchildren, Rich and Ashley Roberts, Katie Roberts, Mathew Roberts, Jesse Roberts; great-grandchildren, Garrett Roberts, and Avery Roberts.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Mike McGuire officiating. Entombment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, December 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
