Aaron Golub, the first legally blind Division I athlete to play in a college football game, headlines the fifth annual American Association of Adapted Sports Programs, Inc. ASPIRE Awards scheduled for Oct. 22 at Maggiano’s Little Italy Buckhead.

The awards honor individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions central to the mission of making adapted sports programming available to children and adolescents with physical disabilities and contributing to their physical, social and intellectual well-being. The event is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 22.
