MLB: World Series-Atlanta Braves at Houston Astros

Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Will Smith (51) and catcher Travis d’Arnaud (16) celebrate after defeating the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the 2021 World Series at Minute Maid Park.

After making history by winning the World Series, the Atlanta Braves are sending several artifacts from the fourth modern championship in franchise history — and first since 1995 — to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Following the Braves’ 7-0 win on Tuesday night, the team and players generously donated several artifacts that tell the story of their victory to the Hall of Fame, and those pieces will soon take a permanent place in Cooperstown.
