Rain washed out golf action for Clayton State.

After a Day 1 performance that had them tied for fourth out of 15 teams, seven of which are nationally ranked, Clayton State men's golf will finish in that position as the final day of the Sixth Annual Newberry Invitational was rained out on Tuesday, February 18. As a team they shot 290-303-593.

The only unranked team among the top six teams Clayton State, trailed No. 5 Lynn (576), No. 2 Georgia Southwestern (577) and No. 13 Columbus State (591) in the final standings. They tied with No. 8 Arkansas State (593) and finished ahead of No. 3 USC Aiken (594) in sixth, No. 12 Florida Tech (10th, 599) and No. 21 Florida Southern (T8-597).
