This week, there are two teams looking for success slated to face each other. On one side, the program has three straight losses to open the season. While the other has been outscored 99-63 with a quarterback thats a transfer.

The Golden Eagles enter this week with an almost identical quarterback situation. Both sides have quarterbacks who can run but it's a reunion of sorts for Woodland's quarterback.

Woodland beat North Clayton two weeks ago, a win that was sandwiched in between losses to Southwest DeKalb and Jonesboro. In last week’s loss to Jonesboro, the Wolfpack couldn't avoid giving up numerous huge gains.

Friday’s matchup is an opportunity to kick-start the squad for the rest of the campaign.

Eagle’s Landing had a chance to win over Rockdale two weeks ago but fell apart late in the game. Against Douglas County and Thomson, the Golden Eagles couldn't get anything going their way. This week's game against Woodland will give the Golden Eagles a true barometer for their region hopes.
