Eagle's Landing runs away from South Atlanta in second half

Photo by Jason Mussell / Eagle's Landing guard Isaiah Dennis leaping to the hoop in transition was a common sight in the second half of the Golden Eagles' 77-51 victory over South Atlanta in the Class AAAA semifinals Saturday.

FORT VALLEY As Eagle's Landing senior guards Trevin Joseph and Isaiah Dennis began to finish in transition in the fourth quarter, the allegiance of the crowd began to sway.

Dennis had already teased them with an alley-oop in the third quarter, but then the flurry began. Joseph got in a two-handed slam and then gave way to Dennis' theatrics a steal and dunk, a dynamic tomahawk jam despite getting fouled and then a two-handed finish of his own off a quick pass from Joseph.
