MCDONOUGH — Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy (17-7) swept Prince Avenue Christian (16-12) in the first round of the Class-A Private state baseball tournament Friday night at Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy.

The Chargers scored 19 runs in two games, highlighted by sophomore Tre’ Douglas who finished the series with five hits and five runs scored. Senior right-hander Johnny Cook was the story in Game 2, tossing a complete game to close out the series.
