ELCA’s Keaton Mitchell is back in action this week.

Following a nice bye-week, the ELCA Chargers are back in action this week as they host Prince Avenue Christian for the Sweet 16 round of the Georgia High School Association football playoffs.

The Chargers enter this week on a six game winning streak that will be pitted against the 9-2 Wolverines.

However, the Chargers defense will be the focus of this game as they'll be tasked with stopping junior Brock Vandagriff who's thrown for 1,946 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Add in a junior running back in Landon Owens who rushed 119 times for 904 yards and 10 touchdowns, the Chargers could have their hands full.

The only way that should happen though, is if the Chargers offense is slow to start. The explosive play from Keaton Mitchell should disrupt Prince Avenue's defense but the Chargers should have a good idea behind senior quarterback Gabe Wright.

If the history has been proven to be good for ELCA, there should be little resistance for the program at home Friday night.
