STOCKBRIDGE — Stockbridge High linebacker Kerick Reese has been named this week’s Henry County Defensive Player of the Week by the Henry Herald following his performance in last week’s 33-12 win over Locust Grove.

Reese led Stockbridge, and the county in Week 4, with 14 tackles. He and the Stockbridge defense held Locust Grove’s high-powered offense to just 12 points.

“He led the team in sacks last year and we moved him to linebacker,” Stockbridge head coach Kevin Whitley said. “He is still learning the position but he is getting better each day.”
