NCAA Football: Indiana at Ball State

Ball State Cardinals running back Caleb Huntley (2) runs the ball against Indiana Hoosiers defensive back Andre Brown Jr. (14) during an Aug. 31, 2019 game at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Locust Grove grad Caleb Huntley signed a rookie free agent deal with the hometown Atlanta Falcons after he wasn’t selected in the NFL Draft.

The 5-foot-10, 229-pound Huntley gives the rebuilding Falcons backfield a power back who excelled for four seasons at Ball State. He rushed for 1,003 yards as a freshman in 2017, missed a large portion of the 2018 season with an injury and returned to earn All-MAC and Ball State Co-Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2019, when he rushed for 1,275 yards and 12 touchdowns.
