McDONOUGH — Rivalries are always fun to watch, and when two teams that have as much bad blood as they do love for each other meet, it’s always electric and the stakes are higher than normal.

For Luella and McDonough, that was true once more Friday night in the Warhawks’ gym. Missed timeout calls, blown leads and timely shooting from both ends of the floor kept fans clueless as to who’d win. When the buzzer finally signaled the end of the game, it was Luella 67-62 over the Lady Warhawks.
