The second-ranked Eagle’s Landing’s boys basketball team won the Region 4-AAAAA championship Saturday with a 57-53 victory over No. 8 Dutchtown.

David Thomas led the victory with 26 points and six rebounds, and A.J. Barnes also had a big game with 16 points and 16 rebounds. It was the third straight region title for the Eagles (24-1).
