Ola punched their ticket to the state tournament with a nail-biter finisher over Eagle's Landing.

McDONOUGH - The Ola Mustangs had their work cut out for them against Eagle's Landing but needed a victory Friday night to propel into the postseason.

That win came but it was still a nail-biter to the end. The second to last update that came from Ola High was the Golden Eagles were leading 26-21 and time was running out.

A score late in the game kept the Mustangs in the postseason as Stockbridge locked their way into the postseason earlier in the night.

After the game, head coach Jared Zito could only start off with wow as the realization his team was in settled in.

"It was not pretty tonight, but we made enough plays when we had to make them to win the game," Zito said. "We are so excited to be back in the playoffs. Everybody starts Monday at 0-0. We know Ware County will be a great challenge. We will enjoy this win and achievement tonight and start to work on Ware County tomorrow."
