Outlook: The Patriots took a step back in 2018 as teams keyed in on their style of play however, Strong Rock will need to fill a lot of holes if they hope to get back to the playoffs.
Strong Rock’s offense centered on now-graduated Demetrius Knight a dual-threat quarterback. Two top wide receivers also graduated leaving holes in offense around the quarterback position.
One of the key returners for the Patriots in 2019 will be Jackson Wilkerson following a 574 yard rushing campaign as a sophomore.
A few other Strong Rock returners should be on the defensive side of the ball. Mitchell Barton being one who ranked second on the defense is slated to return.
Strong Rock has to fill a lot of holes on their offense and defense if they hope to return to the Class A-Private state tournament.
