Rose Lavelle scored shortly after the opening whistle, Samantha Mewis added a pair of goals, and the United States women's national soccer team qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a 4-0 victory over Mexico on Friday at Carson, Calif.

Christen Press also scored while Megan Rapinoe had two assists in the semifinal game of the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Canada also qualified for Tokyo with a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica in the opening semifinal game on Friday at Carson.
