McDONOUGH — Woodland High School Athletic Director was named the Region 4-AAAAA Athletic Director of the Year Monday.

“We are very excited for Dion, as he has come into the world of athletic administration,” the release said. “And has worked diligently to support his athletic program while maintaining a level of professionalism and leadership that is commendable.”

Stokes has been an athletic director since 2017 and will represent Henry County at the state level with recognition from the GADA

He will be recognized at the Georgia Athletic Directors Association state conference in March in Savannah.
