Glenn Hall was a young husband when fame first came calling. A prolific songwriter, singer and musician, Hall had dreams back in the ’90s of a record deal and hearing his songs played somewhere other than his home studio. A recording contract was offered along with an artist development deal. His full-time music career was within reach, but then Hall said, “No.”

He was about to become a family man. His music would have to wait. And wait it did. It waited until both of his sons were grown with guitars in their hands came asking him to join them in putting together The Hall House Band. Glenn Hall along with sons Max, 26 and Caleb, 24, have now recorded their first album, which is titled “The Hall House” and will debut this project Thursday, Sept. 5, at Southern Roots on the square in McDonough. Everyone is invited to attend the free concert at 7 p.m. and hear some of the songs Hall wrote more than two decades ago, as well as songs written by his sons.
