Collaborative Efforts To Allocate Tax Revenue in Henry. What We Know

McDONOUGH — The Henry County Board of Commissioners and the city councils of McDonough, Hampton, Locust Grove, and Stockbridge will hold a joint meeting June 27 to discuss the project list for a 2024 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum. The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Henry County Administration Community Room, 140 Henry Pkwy., McDonough.

The cities and counties will also negotiate an intergovernmental agreement allocating the SPLOST proceeds among the different jurisdictions.
