Warmer spring temperatures have encouraged more and more bicycling enthusiasts to venture outdoors and enjoy the trails at Arabia Mountain. As a result the most popular trailheads in the National Heritage Area have become overcrowded on busy weekends. The Arabia Mountain Heritage Area Alliance, in partnership with DeKalb County Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs, is urging bicyclists to park at some of the less-crowded trailheads in the National Heritage Area for the best biking experience. A little farther away from the trailheads, at the base of Arabia Mountain, free parking is available and the trails are wide open for bike riding.
