HAMPTON — In a world where most are short on time and long on responsibilities, Hampton United Methodist Church is doing its best to ensure it’s adapting with the times.
The church is set to unveil Sept. 18 a new way of worship by introducing its new service dubbed “:44.” The service will be divided into four 11-minute segments, starting at 9:10 a.m. The first segment will be music, the second and third portions, from 9:22 a.m. until 9:44 a.m., will be sermon and prayers, and the final 11 minutes will be more music.
