What part of your landscape requires the most maintenance? Roses? How about the annual bed? Annual flowers? Wrong. The most maintenance needed is the home lawn. Consider this: It requires weekly mowing in the growing season, fertilization, liming, aeration, and over-seeding for tall fescue lawns. A beautiful lawn requires much time and effort. Unfortunately, an improper landscape design makes the task more demanding.

Eliminating corners is a first step. No lawnmower will trim an inside corner, and you must use a weed trimmer to clean up those areas. The task is more time-consuming and necessitates purchasing another piece of expensive equipment, thus increasing the difficulties of lawn care.
