ATLANTA — An Atlanta doctor, a Conyers pharmacist and a McDonough woman are among 13 people who have been sentenced for their involvement in an Atlanta-area “pill mill” operated by the doctor, pharmacists and pill sponsors who sold illegal prescriptions to drug users.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Georgia, pharmacist Raphael Ogunsusi was charged in 2021 with filling large amounts of illegitimate prescriptions at his two pharmacies — one in Stonecrest and the other, Retox Pharmacy in Hunting Creek Plaza, in Conyers.
