STOCKBRIDGE — The city’s savings account is very healthy and has more than the average city its size, according to CPA Miller Edwards of Mauldin & Jenkins who presented the fiscal year 2015 financial report at the June 28 Stockbridge City Council work session.

At the end of 2015, Stockbridge’s unassigned fund balance was $8.2 million, or 129 percent of total general fund expenditures, which puts the city in a “favorable” position, Edwards said.
