McDONOUGH — The Henry County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved to amend the FY 2013-14 budget to allow the Building Department to hire a full-time building inspector.

“The budget needs to be amended periodically throughout the fiscal year to account for any variances,” said Interim Finance Director Angie Sorrow. “In this budget amendment we’re asking to increase building revenues and permits in the amount of $30,000 and inspections by $30,000 to hire one full time building inspector.”
