The Virginia Tech Hookies invaded the Southern Crescent and stole a football player right out of the Unviersity of Georgia and Georgia Tech's backyard as Luella High School's Detrick Bonner signed on to play for Frank Beamer Wednesday during National Signing Day.

Bonner committed to Virigina Tech before the start of the football season last fall.
