Eric Joseph Braden, 16, of McDonough, passed away July 2, 2011. Eric was born in Middletown, New York, and was a 9th-grade home-schooled student. He started riding motorcycles at age four and won several races. He was an artist and an awesome guitar player. He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Marion Braden, paternal grandfather, Joseph Kasbach, Sr., aunts, Colleen Mederious and Michelle Braden, uncle, Joseph Kasbach, Jr. Eric loved his parents, Gene and Karen Braden, of McDonough; maternal grandmother, Mary Kasbach of Spring Hill, Fla.; paternal grandfather, Eugene Francis (Mary) Braden, Sr. of Hudson, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Brenda (Rick) Gawricki, of Virginia Beach, Va., Belinda (John) Blanquer, of Hudson, Fla., Bernadette (Pat) Arvidson, of Annapolis, Md., Pamela (Charlie) Miller, of Hudson, Fla.; uncle and fianc, Michael (Michelle Roy) Braden, of Sarasota, Fla.; best friend and family, Young Joo Cha and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 8, at 11 a.m., from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family Thursday, from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Contributions are asked to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, in memory of Eric.
