Kelly Butler, 34, of Stockbridge, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. She was born in Rex, Ga., to Bruce and Teresa Thornton. Kelly graduated from Eagles Landing High School in 1996. She was a homemaker, and attended church at Rock Springs Church.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her parents, Bruce and Teresa Thornton; son, Preston Nunz; brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Kelly Thornton; nieces, Gracie and Maddie Thornton; grandparents, Joe and Joyce Young, Iletha Thornton, and Laverne Thornton.
